Ilgaz T Villa
On some sites half of the design is already done. In Ilgaz, two valleys, the sea and the vineyards set the direction from day one.

Rather than spreading the building across the land, we placed it as horizontal volumes that frame the view. Each volume faces a different direction, so sea, valley and vineyard appear in different rooms at different moments.
Natural stone and shading elements offer passive protection against hot Mediterranean summers. Wide openings, a courtyard and terraces deliberately soften the line between inside and out.
The changing light becomes part of the architecture. A home that is understated rather than showy, strong in its details, calm yet full of character.
Key decisions
- Horizontal massing that frames the view
- Passive climate control with stone and shading
- Courtyard and terraces that blur inside and out
This project was designed and delivered together with the FEINE team.
